Some random thoughts on the Boar Princess: 1) No, the Wise Fox and the Old Turtle aren't the Boar Princess' true friends. They very clearly attempted to drive her to suicide, by suggesting that the Boar Princess herself should sacrifice herself to Andrius. But the Boar Princess tricked them and came out as the winner. 2) Andersdotter being a daughter of Andrius? It would make sense, if she was like Razor. 3) I think the wolf pup being Andrius the Wolfinator gives us a key to unraveling the rest of the mystery. This tale is a record of the Archon War in Mondstadt, written in an Irminsul-proof way. Boar Princess is Venti, Turtle is Decarabian, and the fox must be an ancestor of Yae Miko and Sucrose. After Decarabian was slain in a rebellion, Andrius mysteriously warmed up and gave up on fighting for the throne of Anemo Archon. The tale suggests this is because he consumed some of Decarabian's essence, and it allowed him to overcome whatever caused him to fight in the Archon War (which, I think, is Forbidden Knowledge that the squirrel possessed) and back down from the fight, becoming a mysterious ghost he is now. And the fox's followers had to escape to Inazuma, where they took control of the Sacred Sakura from tanuki. 4) If the above is right, this fairy tale might be our biggest clue on the nature of gods and the archon war. It's not gluttony - like Oceanids, they can become much greater by consuming one another. And then they can split apart, like when Makoto created Ei, or when Venti split from the rest of thousand winds.

Tsaritsa is the Boar princess. Traveler is the wolf. From Tsaritsa perspective she is saving the world the Traveler is consuming it. Traveler kills the Doctor, the wise fox, and then the Jester, the old Turtle. Signora is the evil mage. She was cursing the Traveler before her end.

amazing video! i'd like to add another point i think will help your argument ^^ hans christian andersen also wrote "the snow queen" (see?), and the boar princess' overarching storyline most closely resembles the snow queen. a kid gets his heart pierced by a shard of glass/ice and becomes bitter, skeptical, and is essentially abducted by the snow queen. he sees nothing but bad in the world and in people. his best friend, a young girl, goes on a journey and meets various people and helps them out, and they help her in turn to find her friend again. at the end, with the help of a magical old lady whom she helped earlier on her journey, she manages to melt away the ice shards stuck in her friend's heart, and the story ends happily. at least this is what I remember of the tale. the titular snow queen actually has very little part in it... make of this what you will!

I can't believe you're not mentioning the Snow Queen by Andersen one bit? (which is the reference for The Boar Princess book) Actually, you know who else read the Boar Princess book? it's Nahida. And I think Nahida is one of the example of Boar Princess's character in action because for some reason, Wanderer reminds me of the wolf pup (and Ratatoskr would be Dottore or something). But after thinking about it again, her Homecoming SQ is more fitting to the whole scenario (Nahida = Boar Princess, Apep = Wolf pup, companions = Apep's family, Ratatoskr = Deshret) Also, something about the namecard for the Imaginarium Theater achievement reminds me one of the characters from the Snow Queen, Kai, which the Queen promised him if he is able to spell "eternity" correctly, she would free him. "There must be an eternity forged from "memory" at the end of this path."

i really don't buy the unique models being all that hard. if hoyo can make the game a pain to play with child models no one asked for, they can give us unique adult models too.

This story is like 100% allegories, all these characters are representations of actual beings that behaved in the same way. Not so much gluttony but the overarching sin which is greed, just the wanting of something. Representations in the most evil way where you completely disregard the negative effects on others while you get what you want. The boar princess is about the satiation of desires (for power, for sustenance, for anything) without consequences. Given that we know that godly power in genshin can be consumed and gained (consecrated beasts, lectors) and used it certainly brings it to a different light. Who did the 5 sinner's consume then?

Speaking of origins. Did you know that the name "Erinnyes" is a mistake? The original name is "Errighenth", which means "High female ruler". It was misread by the modern citizens due to the ancient text being obscure, the "gh" looked like "y", so the name was mistranslated by error.

i feel like the boar princess might be the previous cryo archon. not the tsaritsa, but her predecessor (so cocolia?). the wolf pup could be pierro, and what they're working together on now might be because of whatever happened to the prev cryo archon. whichever archon the princess is, i could almost see tartaglia and pulcinella being the fox and turtle, who might get sacrificed for the fatui's plan. but that's probably crack.
